Dear Community Artists and Creatives,
Fiesta on the Plaza brings families from across Greeley and Weld County together to celebrate the traditions, creativity, and cultural pride of our Latina/o community. In 2026, our theme — Arte y Tradición — highlights Latina/o and Hispanic arts in all their forms. We are creating a dedicated Artistic Square, designed as a welcoming space where visitors can stroll, connect, and engage directly with local artists. The Mexican American History Project, Greeley and the City of Greeley Museums invite you to join us! We welcome emerging and established creatives whose work reflects visual arts, handmade traditions, storytelling, and cultural expression. Artists may demonstrate their craft, display completed work, and optionally sell original artwork, books, or handmade goods. Please note: The Artistic Square is designed for booth-style demonstrations and engagement rather than scheduled stage performances. Artists are responsible for handling their own sales. Applications must be submitted by August 20th and applicants will be notified by August 26th. Applications will be vetted by the Fiesta on the plaza planning committee. There is no application or participation fee. Contact Kristjana Eyjólfsson, [email protected] or 970-350-9275 if you have any questions.
