Two of our probates at Fire and Iron Sta. 141 have a great cause that they started in remembrance of their son that passed tragically from a work accident. He was a donor and they honored his wishes for donation. But their story started when they asked the hospital for the “Donate Life” flag that was flown in his honor. Since then they have been helping other families who have lost a loved one that was an organ donor have a little reminder of the greatness they gave. From an awesome handcrafted box, heart stone, custom flag, to a heart felt letter from their family offering support and a understanding of why they do it. Come hear their story and feel their love for their son and for others who are experiencing the same loss and joy for others.
