“If Tombstones Could Talk: Taking a Stand in History”
Fort Howard Memorial Park Cemetery
June 14th and 15th, 6:30 PM
Fort Howard Memorial Park Cemetery is the setting for the first Cemetery Tour of the Brown County Historical Society’s 2017 season. The theme for our “If Tombstones Could Talk” series is “Taking a Stand in History” and the characters visitors will meet represent a wide range of time-periods and difference stances. Once these folks walked, laughed, worked, and contributed to our community. Now they are a memory of yesterday. Hear their stories – take a step back to their time. Come, visit us at the Fort Howard Memorial Cemetery Walk, and discover how these historic residents of Green Bay took a stand in history! The Brown County Historical Society and Fort Howard Memorial Park Cemetery are sponsoring this event.
This is a guided walking tour that takes place outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Lightweight portable lawn chairs are recommended.
