It's Why Curative? Wednesday and in this edition, we hear from Olivia Crooks. Olivia is a remarkable young woman and an example of why all of us choose to work at Curative. Olivia suffered a brain injury after a fall just before leaving for college to study pharmacology. She was unable to say any words other than, "I don't know," for more than six months. She became a client at Curative Connections and worked hard to rehabilitate in our Brain Rehab and Wellness program. Olivia went on to school but decided to study speech pathology and is currently employed with us at Curative Connections, working along side the people who helped her get well. Olivia is our why and we are so fortunate she's chosen to share her gifts with our clients and all of us at Curative. If you or anyone you know has had a brain injury, stroke or is seeking cognitive retraining, visit our website at www.curativeconnections.org to learn more about how we can help. #WhyCurativeWednesdays
