Thank you to Senator Jennifer Bradley, Speaker-Designate Sam Garrison, and Representative Judson Sapp for supporting the School District Education Foundation Matching Grant Program.

Last night, more than 500 students and their families attended Clay County District Schools’ College and Career Night, supported by the Foundation's Future Ready Clay program. Students had the opportunity to explore postsecondary pathways, discover career possibilities, and gain valuable direction for life after graduation.

NOW OPEN: Student Service Challenge Applications!

High school students, here’s your chance to give back to your community, build leadership skills, and support your educational goals!

The Student Service Challenge is now accepting applications. This exciting partnership between Clay County District Schools, Clay Education Foundation, the Florida Department of Education, and the Florida Lottery gives eligible high school students the opportunity to complete 20 or more new hours of community service and write an essay focused on civic responsibility and leadership.

Upon acceptance and completion, a limited number of eligible students may earn $500 toward their educational goals.

Important Dates:
📅 Applications open: Thursday, August 27 at 5:00 PM
⏰ Applications close: Monday, August 31 at 5:00 PM
📢 Accepted students will be notified: September 1, 2026

Space is limited, so eligible students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible!

Congratulations to our President/CEO, Carolyn Krall, who will serve on the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations board again for 2026-2027. For more than 25 years, the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations has worked alongside local education foundations to support students, teachers, and schools across Florida. The Consortium also administers the School District Education Foundation Matching Grant Program, the nation’s only 1-to-1 match for K-12 initiatives led by local education foundations, helping private donations go further in classrooms and communities.

We'd like to say a big thank you to our long-time friends at Capital City Bank for their donation to our Tools for Schools satellite store in Keystone Heights. The satellite store allows teachers to receive supplies for their classroom without making the long drive.

With the support of our community, we will continue to make sure that every student begins the school year confident and ready to learn with the supplies they need!
