On July 8, 2026, Green Creek and Rio Grande Volunteer Fire Companies held a joint water rescue drill in a local pond. The training included live victims in the water, and techniques utilized to get them out of the water and into the boat. It also helped members become familiar with each companies equipment. Thank you all who participated.

On April 27, 2026, Green Creek Fire was invited to attend a drill along with Cape May Court House Fire and Stone Harbor Fire, at the Cape May County Fire Academy. Green Creek was utilized as the RIT Team, with scenarios consisting of live burns, with victims and downed firefighters.

On April 8th and 22nd, Green Creek members took advantage of the spring weather, and performed SCBA training. The fire company has two stacked "conex" boxes on site, with numerous props and changeable obstacles. Firefighters trained on search and rescue of persons and downed firefighters, as well as mayday scenarios, and RIT operations. If you would like information on joining our team of volunteers, we are at the firehouse every Wednesday night after 6:30 pm, if you would like to stop by and get information.

02/11/2026, Green Creek Fire Company, along with Villas and Cape May Court House Fire Companies, held an Ice Rescue Drill, at a local gravel pit, off of Route 47 in Green Creek. The training was a great success, and involved different rescue scenarios, utilizing different techniques and equipment, ensuring our menbers will be ready, in the event of a cold weather emergency. Thank you to all who participated.
