Congratulations on your retirement Sergeant Kevin Manning!! Retirements have so many emotions. Its always tough to see someone go from the active Green Lake County Sheriff's Office Family to the retired Green Lake County Sheriff's Office family. It was great to see so many folks today to wish Sergeant Manning well from both groups. Law Enforcement builds special bonds over the course of a career, and there's no doubt Sergeant Manning has done that. Best wishes to you sir, enjoy your retirement, and pour all the love you can on your beautiful family.

In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized EMS Week to celebrate EMS professionals and the important work they do in our nation's communities.

National Emergency Medical Services Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine's frontline.

Thank you to all of the men and women who serve our county on Berlin EMS, Southern Green Lake County Ambulance, Green Lake-Brooklyn First Responders, Dalton and Kingston First Responders and anyone in our county that is a part of EMS teams anywhere!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month πŸ’œπŸ§ πŸ’œ
β€œMore Good Days, Together” πŸ’š

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, recognized since 1949 to reduce stigma, educate the public, and provide support for mental health conditions. The 2026 campaign focuses on community support and well-being, with the color green representing mental health awareness.

Green Lake County employees joined together, yesterday, to show hope, strength, and support when it comes to mental health by wearing green.

Together, we can help remind one another that it’s okay to ask for help, talk about feelings, and support each other every day.🧠

Ripon College Intern Jorge Verduzco completed his capstone project today while presenting what he was able to gather on the Sheriffs of Green Lake County from 1868 to 2026 and from Sheriff James A. Biggert to Sheriff Mark A. Podoll. Intern Verduzco with the assistance of some important community and family members was able to put this together for the community to see.

We would also like to congratulate Jorge on his upcoming graduation and express our sincere gratitude to Ripon College in facilitating this internship.
