On Thursday, September 24th around 09:45 in the morning, Green Springs Elementary will be conducting an evacuation drill. We will sporadically shut down SR 19/Broadway in front of the school to ensure children cross safely to their designated spaces and back to school. Please be patient as we practice and get better in the event something happens for an evacuation.

REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY A DRILL

Thank you for your understanding

Recently our agency has had multiple complaints regarding ebikes and unsafe operation of them. Ebikes are not meant to be on the sidewalks but are to share the roadway with motor vehicles. Ebikes must adhere to the safe laws of the road as a vehicle does; this includes stopping for stop signs and riding with the flow of traffic.

PLEASE NOTE: We want everyone to be safe. Our agency can and will start issuing citations to juveniles especially for failure to follow the rules of the road. Please talk to your juveniles about safe ebike operation and how to properly ride on the roadway obeying traffic laws.

If you have any questions about ebike safety and traffic, please contact our agency.
