Hear ye ALL! Your Detachment Commandant, Adjutant/Paymaster/Quarter Master and Chaplain just came back from the Department Spring Conference in Lake Havasu. It was such a great time! Dept. Commandant Antonio Espino announced he is running for another term as Dept. Of Az MCL Commandant. The following also were nominated from the floor:

Sr. Vice Commandant: Ernie Sabori
Jr. Vice Commandant: Mike Kudla
Judge Advocate: Ryan Smith

If Antonio Espino wins, then Joe Uribe will remain the Jr. Past Commandant Dept. of AZ for another year.

I encourage all to look into joining the Dept. at the June Convention hosted by the Old Breed Detachment. We will have more word to pass on this at our March meeting on the 26th of this month at 1900 hours at the American Legion Post 109.

Of AZ Commandant Antonio Espino, Judge Advocate (Casa Grande Det M901 Commandant) Ryan Smith and Southwest Division Adjutant Vanessa Smith. Dept. Of California Commandant Ivania Mungia (2026 recipient of the Chapel of the four chaplains Humanitarian Award), SWD ADC Hawaii, Jack Corrie and The One above All Parlimentarian (SWD, National and Kennel) Jon Hitesman. Last day of sessions today followed by a banquette tonight. Always great to see AZ and the SWD representing at National events. Semper Fidelis!
