Jackie has a “grinch” face and doesn’t always appear friendly even though she is the sweetest thingever. We think that may be why she hasn’t been adopted yet, so hopefully this will show her true personality

This is Cooper, a one year old redbone coonhound. Super sweet and good with people and some dogs. No cats, he wants to tree them which is his breed. Follows his nose wherever he goes. He is neutered and available for adoption. He would love to find a family to play with.
Kind citizen Found a nursing gray and white mother dog and brought her here. Still making tons of milk so has puppies that need her. She was found near the Route 66 gas station. If anyone know where she belongs please call us so we can get her back to her puppies.

COVID-19 and the City - UPDATE
The Mayor, Aldermen, and City Management feel it is important to communicate with our community any and all information as we receive it. When we get new information about COVID-19, it will be passed along as quickly as possible.
Effective March 23,2020 (Monday):
*Clean-up day on 04/4/20 is cancelled.
*City Hall lobby is closed. The drive-thru at City Hall is opened during normal business hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday.
*The Police Department lobby is closed. For information on the payment of police citations, please call our Police Department at (615)643-4467.
*Animal Control is closed to the public. If your animal is seized, you will be contacted and allowed to pick up your pet.
*Building and Codes - applications for permits will be given out and returned at the drive-thru of City Hall. Anyone needing an inspection will need to call City Hall (615)643-4531 for an appointment. All inspections will be done at the discretion of the inspector.
The City is continuously monitoring this situation. We want to assure you that we are here to serve and to help our community make it on the other side of this as healthy as possible. We are fully staffed and still providing all city services (with just a little adjustment regarding public access to buildings). As always if you have a medical, police, or fire emergency, call 911.

This is Oreo, he’s about 3 years old and up to date on vaccines. He loves to be with his people and know basic commands. He does well on leash and listens when we say no. He does well with other animals that we have seen, but prefers people. He is neutered as well. Oreo would love to meet his new family!

They have been adopted!
We’ve got these 2 boys available for adoption. The short hair is Goose and he is an unaltered male, super sweet and very affectionate. The other one (long hair) is Charlie and he’s still working on getting used to being with humans. They both do well with with other cats and have zero fear of dogs.
We just can’t figure out how Miss Loey hasn’t been adopted yet. She’s so sweet and loves her people. She does great with other dogs, although sometimes gets an attitude when it comes to sharing. She knows quite a few tricks and is house trained. She’s so smart and learns quickly. She does well with kids, preferable a little older as she doesn’t like to be pulled on. Loey is already spayed and is currently up to date on all vaccines.
