I failed to add this to the calendar this month!!

You will find me with a booth set up with extra fishing poles next Saturday the 12th!! Stop by and grab a calendar and say hi!

It’s almost time!!! The City of Guy Police Department is looking forward to our annual Cops & Bobbers Fishing Derby! The event will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Registration will begin at 9:30am at Guy City Park, 30 Oak Lane, Guy, AR. Fishing will immediately follow from 10:00am to 11:30am, and lunch will be served at 11:30am.

The event is open to all area families, and children ages 3-16 may participate in the derby. Prizes will be offered by age groups. The event is free to the public, and we have tons of prizes and snacks available. All derby participants will need to bring their own fishing equipment.

We hope you will come enjoy a great morning of food, fishing, and relaxation with us!

We are so exited about the community center work being done! Please excuse the mess and noise! Even though it’s a totally separate room with its own entrance (also an entrance on our end) it can still get noisy in the library and sometimes a little dirt gets tracked in! Also sometimes an extension cord down the hall lol. Not to bad though just a little warning if you come in, you may hear a saw 😂😂

September calendar for Guy!!! Remember we do after school every day. Guy bus and Quitman bus stop by here every day!!! Talk to Ms. Tish if you would like to have your kids to be part of our after school program.

After school child must have parent contact information for emergencies, and be PICKED UP by a guardian by 6.

A Very Laufey Day 2026 is finally here!! Which means it’s time to release our limited-edition library cards!

Stop by during our pop-up hours from 12pm-3pm today (8/23) to get your very own Laufey x FCL library card! Can’t make it to our event today? We’ll continue handing them out tomorrow at this location and our other Faulkner County locations as supplies last. 💚
