What an amazing day at our 2nd annual Doggie Pool Pawty! The rain stayed away and all of the doggies enjoyed playing in the pool. Hopefully we didn’t miss anyone's doggie picture!
Thank you to Greencastle Parks & Recreation Department and Ashley Crady for hosting this event. To all of the volunteers that handed out pup cups, gave treats and ensured everyone stayed safe in the water...THANK YOU!! This event would not be possible without the dedicated volunteers who show up everytime! Thank you to Lauren for ensuring all the doggies were up to date on their vaccines.
Thank you to our sponsors, Bree Kortesmaki for the dog toys and The Wonder Weims Skip and Casey (Allison Leer) for the pup cups!
Can't wait to see everyone next year!

Show us your special mutt!

Today we celebrate mixed-breed dogs who bring unconditional love, loyalty, and joy.

Every mutt has a unique story and personality—playful, goofy, or snuggly—and reminds us to celebrate differences.

Consider adopting one of our shelter mutts; your perfect match may be waiting.

Give your mutt extra love today—belly rubs, an adventure, or quality time.

Happy National Mutt Day! Celebrate their uniqueness and remember every mutt deserves a loving home. ❤️🐶

Our sweet Amos has finally left the building! Over 1700 days, slowly aging in the shelter, always overlooked (he was an escape artist). I have loved this boy since the day he came in. Always gentle, loves everyone, always wanting attention and butt rubs!
Live your best life sweet Amos! We are gonna miss you but you finally have a home that you deserve! ❤️❤️
