𝐏𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐞 𝐈𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲
It's day 4 of 10 of the 2026 Parke County Covered Bridge Festival, and this year, Putnam County is again happily partnering with our neighbors to the west in providing lodging to those choosing to make their visit to Indiana's largest festival a multi-day event. What you may not know is that while Parke County is No. 1 in the state (and nation) in number of covered bridges with 31 of these historic structures, Putnam County is second in the state (and fifth in the nation) with nine covered bridges. Our partners at Putnam Parks & Pathways have put together a brief overview at https://putnamparks.org/covered-bridges/ . Be sure to visit some of Putnam County's covered bridges on your way to or from Parke County this week!
