We love seeing The Bodega grow. From being named our 2025 Rookie Business of the Year to becoming such a special gathering place in our community, Congratulations on all you’ve built, and thank you for being part of the Chamber!

This was April 2025, Bodega had just won the Chamber award for “Rookie Business of the Year”. We were shocked, elated, and full of thanks.

It’s hard to believe that this little grab & go market has become such a haven. A neighborhood spot that people visit for community as much as they do sandos and snacks.

We’re grateful to bring hidden gems and hard to find goods to our community. To make from scratch food with ingredients from local farms. To brew Helm Coffee coffee who believe “world class coffee and a welcoming door belong together” and that we think is the best coffee around. To get to talk with so many of you and share a bit of life.

We love that we get to do this. With you. For you.

Do you remember the original Emerald Palace playground build in 2001? 🏰 Now, 25 years later, we’re ready to open a little piece of Greencastle’s history!

Join us as we open the original time capsule, discover what was placed inside all those years ago, and fill and seal a brand-new time capsule for the next chapter of Emerald Palace 2.0! 💚

**Local Greencastle staple, Black Market Vinyl, releases their long promised third studio album, Beyond the Grave, at this special album release party. Hear the album live as they play thirteen songs about the most haunted places in Indiana (including Greencastle!). Costumes are greatly encouraged! Doors open at 7pm, music starts at 7:30pm. Admission is free.
It is an all ages show, but content may be disturbing to those under 16.**
