Nicki Garces (class of '99) works with Archives and records for the Consuelo Foundation in Hawai'i. She thinks her work is important because "For so long, many libraries and archives have little materials in their collections about minority groups. Having more robust collections is a way to preserve the histories and voices of such groups."
