I joined the monthly MOCO Mutual Aid meeting tonight, and afterwards I took a walk around downtown with fellow delegates Kay Whetstone for Union Township Trustee and Aaron Morrison. We talked about our hopes for the upcoming convention this weekend and the candidates running for Secretary of State.
The closer we get to the weekend, the more excited I am! With that I want to talk about who I support for Secretary of State and why.
The candidate I am supporting is Blythe Potter for Indiana Secretary of State
During my time on the campaign trail, I had the privilege of speaking with folks from all over our district and hearing what mattered most to people. There were several issues, but one that stuck out to me was how fed up people were with establishment politicians. People want down to earth candidates whose personal lives resemble those of their constituents. Blythe is a small business owner, a mom, a veteran, and an active member of her community. On top of that, she has gone to every county, held live office hours, and responds to constituents, not just the delegates. As a small business owner, I am excited to vote for someone who actually uses the services that she wants to change.
Please join me in supporting Blythe this weekend into November!
