Wow! We are extremely grateful to Carl from Eagle Scout Troop 506 for his incredible Eagle Scout project!

Carl built our firefighters a gear dryer that will help us properly dry our jackets, pants, boots, hoods, and gloves after calls and training. This is an amazing addition to our firehouse and something our firefighters will be able to use for years to come!

A huge thank you to Carl and all of his sponsors who helped make this project come to life. We truly appreciate your generosity, hard work, and support of our firefighters!

Thank you, Carl! We are so grateful for you and Troop 506! 👏

We had the pleasure of hosting some campers from Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation, Inc. Burn Camp at the Greendale Fire Department Wednesday.

If you’re unfamiliar with Burn Camp, Burn Camp is a free, week-long, overnight summer camp experience for kids who have sustained a burn injury to grow their lifelong support system, continue to heal from the emotional trauma of their burns, and just be a kid. The dedication and participation of more than 100 burn survivors and volunteers make this camp special for everyone who attends.

Special thank you to Culver's , Pick 'n Save (Hales Corners), Crumbl, Raising Cane's, and McDonald's for all of your donations!

⚠️ Wisconsin Air Quality Alert ⚠️

Smoke from ongoing Canadian wildfires is creating hazardous air conditions across much of Wisconsin. Even healthy individuals may experience coughing, eye irritation, headaches, or shortness of breath. The Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin encourage everyone to limit outdoor activity when possible, keep windows closed, run air conditioning on recirculate with clean filters, and take extra precautions for children, older adults, and those with heart or lung conditions. If extended time outdoors is unavoidable, a properly fitted N95 mask may help reduce exposure to harmful smoke particles. Stay informed, check on family and neighbors, and seek medical attention if you experience severe breathing difficulties or chest pain.
