School is almost back, and that means school buses, backpacks, bikes, and lots of little feet crossing our streets!
As we get ready for another school year, we’re also looking for a few part-time crossing guards to help fill in when our regular crossing guards are off for a day or two. It’s a great way to help our community, see some familiar faces, and make sure our kids get across the street safely. So, if you’ve ever thought, “I could do that!” — we’d love to hear from you (application on the greendale.org website)!
AND to everyone driving through our school zones this fall: slow down, put the phone away, and keep an extra eye out for our kids. Let’s have a safe school year, Greendale!

Our Open House is coming up, and you’re going to want to bring the whole family!
Come check out the stations, meet our officers & firefighters, hang out with the K9s, enjoy kid-friendly activities, enter some raffles, and just have some FUN!
Come see your Police & Fire Departments up close—and maybe discover something you didn’t know about the people who serve Greendale!

This month, we’re recognizing a Lieutenant, a Sergeant, and three Officers as they celebrate work anniversaries with the department. From leadership to patrol operations, each of these members plays an important role in supporting our mission and serving our community.
