Last Wednesday, the Greene Rotary had the pleasure of welcoming Laura Sehn from A Room to Heal, Inc. 🏡💙

A Room to Heal is a wonderful organization dedicated to transforming bedrooms for individuals with special needs or medical disabilities. Through the generosity of volunteers and donors, they have already completed 150+ room transformations, creating safe, comfortable, and uplifting spaces for those who need them most.

Their team travels within about 50 minutes of Binghamton, New York, helping families throughout our region.

If you would like to learn more about their mission or refer someone who may benefit from their work, please visit their website:

Thank you, Laura, for sharing about the incredible impact A Room to Heal is making in our community! 💙

We were happy to welcome Molly Nolan, Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, C21 North East to our Rotary meeting on Wednesday! 🏡

Molly joined us to share an update on the housing market throughout Greene. She spoke about the average sale price of homes, how many houses have been sold over the last two years, and what trends we’re seeing locally. It was an informative presentation and gave us great insight into how our community continues to grow and change.

Thank you, Molly, for taking the time to join us and share your knowledge!

We were fortunate to welcome Kisten from Aunt Mary's House in Norwich to our recent Greene Rotary meeting 💙 We were also honored to have Alice join us to share her personal story and experience at Aunt Mary’s House, giving us a powerful, firsthand look at the impact of their work.

Aunt Mary’s House was born after Improve Norwich Now (INN) identified safe, stable housing as a top priority in 2019. With INN’s mission focused on removing barriers and providing support so all community members can reach their full potential, Aunt Mary’s House became the perfect solution to walk alongside vulnerable mothers and their babies.

Aunt Mary’s House is a nonprofit organization serving Chenango County, supporting pregnant and parenting mothers (18+) and their babies from pre-born through age 2. Their work provides stability, compassion, and opportunity during one of the most important seasons of life.

Thank you, Kisten and Alice, for taking the time to share your stories and the incredible impact Aunt Mary’s House is making in our community!

Last night at our quarterly dinner meeting was a special one for the Greene Rotary 💙

We were honored to recognize three members who received the Paul Harris Fellow Award — Margo Lord, Megan McClure, and Kris McDermott. All three were nominated by a fellow Rotarian from California, who is Margo and Megan’s uncle and Kris’s brother-in-law. It was a wonderful reminder of how Rotary service and connections reach far beyond our local community.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Betty Casey, our Area Representative for CNY District 7180, who joined us from the Endicott Rotary. Betty took the time to learn more about our club and had the honor of presenting the Paul Harris awards — thank you for your support and dedication to Rotary.

We also had the pleasure of inducting our newest member, Maureen Biviano. We’re excited to welcome her to the Greene Rotary family and look forward to serving alongside her.

Congratulations to our award recipients and welcome, Maureen! 🌟💛
