The DNP Library is looking for toy donations!! 🧩🧸
We're expanding our children's play area, and would love to adopt some well loved or new toys! We're specifically looking for some new dolls and figures, but will welcome other toys too!🥳✨

All toys must be in decent condition, and brought to the library to see if they are appropriate for library use!📚✅

We thank our community in advance for helping provide for all our patrons--especially our little bookworms!🧡📖

Dr. Nathan Porter Library joins people everywhere mourning the passing of Dolly Parton, a Tennessee icon whose life shaped generations through music, kindness, and an determination to spread love for a good book.📖
Dolly was a woman of many talents and influence. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she helped put books into the hands of children all around the world. Her commitment to literacy is something that libraries everywhere will always remember. 🎙️
Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the laughter, the love, and the books. ❤️📚🦋

The Libby app team is saddened to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton.

Dolly was a beloved artist and cultural icon, but perhaps just as importantly, she was a lifelong champion of literacy and the belief that everyone deserves access to books. Through the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, she helped put books into the hands of children in communities across the globe and inspired generations of young readers to discover the joy of reading.

Today, we’re taking a quiet moment to read in Dolly’s memory and to celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind.
