It is with great sadness that Randy Caviness a former SWCD Commissioner has passed away. He served from 2009 to 2024. Randy was an advocate for conservation and getting practices on the ground. He was always willing to drop what he was doing to come to the office and help. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.

The Adair County SWCD had a booth at the Adair County Fair this last week! The kids loved the prize wheel, but before they could win the prize, they had to answer a soil health question. After the first day, we were wiped cleaned of our questions and had to come back day 2 with pollinator questions! Thank you to all the kids and adults who came to our booth.
