📚 We’re excited to kick off the 2026–2027 school year with our Greenfield Public Schools community! 🎒

Family Center staff are proud to be present at every school tonight for the Greenfield Public Schools Meet & Greet! We are so excited to welcome students, families, educators, and the entire school community as we begin a brand-new school year.

Tonight, David, Bethany, Destinie, Yaya, Serenity, and Aidin are out in the schools representing our Family Center team — connecting with families, sharing resources, and talking about the many FREE programs, services, and upcoming events available to our community!

📚 Our Family Resource Center is here to support families with connection, resources, concrete supports, parenting education, family activities, referrals, and so much more.

🎒 Our Greenfield CFCE supports families with young children through early childhood programming, playgroups, parent education, early literacy, developmental screenings, and opportunities to help children get ready to learn and thrive.

And tonight is just the beginning! Our team will be here throughout the school year and beyond, building relationships, connecting families to resources, and partnering with our schools and community to help families thrive.

Whether your family has a child starting kindergarten, navigating middle or high school, or little ones just beginning their early learning journey — the Family Center is here for you!

🎉📚 KICK OFF THE SCHOOL YEAR WITH FAMILY FUN! 📚🎉

It’s time to celebrate the start of a brand-new school year—and we’re kicking it off with a FREE Family Center Pajama Party! 🥳💙

Bring the whole family for an evening packed with fun, crafts, games, food, and connection!

📖 Craft & Storytime – Little ones up to age 8 can enjoy a special storytime, make a craft, and take home a copy of Lola Goes to School to add to their home library!

🍦 Tween Ice Cream Social – Youth ages 8+ can hang out, play games, make a craft, and enjoy some ice cream with friends!

🍕 Dinner & craft supplies provided!
🥱 Pajamas are optional—but encouraged! 😉

Our facilitators will sprinkle in their Soap making experience and tips. Discover the secrets of ingredients, design techniques, and the wonders of customization.

Unleash your inner soap artist as you master the art of melt and pour soap creation!

Craft your own soap masterpiece by selecting a base, fragrance, molds, and colors.
Level up your soap game by adding skincare ingredients like oils, clays, and botanicals.

After the creative fun, your soaps will need some beauty sleep before being ready for pickup in 24 hours.

This bubbly event is open to young aged 8 and above, along with caregivers.

We are so thankful for the Community and Women's Way for their commitment to Blooming Backpacks 🎒

Blooming Backpacks contributes stuffed Backpacks, books and supplies that contribute to our Annual Backpack Distribution!

If you would like to contribute or learn more, visit United Way of the Franklin & Hampshire Region, Massachusetts !

There are just a few days left to shop for backpacks and school supplies before the Blooming Backpacks drive wraps up.

The collection event is taking place on August 4th from 4:30pm-6:00pm at Baystate Franklin Medical Center (164 High St.) in Greenfield.

It's that time of year to register! 

Join us for our annual Back to School Supply event.

We will have 2 distribution days:
📅Saturday August 8th 10:00am-12:00am during the Back 2 School Family Bash!
or
📅Monday August 10th 2:00pm-5:30pm 


Free school supplies for the first 200 Franklin County students Kindergarten - 12th grade.

 Registration is required!
