We are excited to officially welcome Officer Thomas Danek to the Whitnall community as our new School Resource Officer! Joining us from the Greenfield Police Department, Officer Tom is eager to step into the SRO role to build meaningful relationships, mentor students, and serve as a positive daily presence.
Outside of uniform, Officer Tom is a semi-professional musician who does session work, plays in musical pit bands, and even rocked out in a high school punk band called "We're Not Heroes." He is a devoted husband who met his wife in high school show choir, as well as a proud father of two. Officer Tom is also an avid reader of crime and historical fiction novels, and he is fascinated by robot lawn mowers. In fact, the idea of a little robot lawn mower cutting grass at 2:00 AM with its little headlight on just makes him happy! Whether you want to swap book recommendations, talk show choir, or chat about cool tech, please stop by to say hello.
