RCFC is excited to host a free, virtual writing circle workshop for survivors of sexual trauma on September 2nd, 2026, from 2pm-4pm.

This workshop is offered by local Western Mass author and writing circle facilitator, Donna Jenson. The event flyer is attached here, but you can read more about Donna and the structure of the group at www.timetotell.org

To register for the workshop, please call the RCFC Hotline at (413) 772-0806. An RCFC advocate will collect your email for the Zoom link. We will need to cap the class to ensure that people have as much time for writing feedback as possible during the workshop, so please do call as soon as you can if you're interested.

Thank you to The Greenfield Recorder for covering our recent funding award from the Office of Behavioral Health Promotion and Prevention!

"The funding heading to the Resilience Center of Franklin County aligns closely with one of the organization’s long-term strategic goals: expanding [violence] prevention education throughout rural western Massachusetts [...] At the heart of the new initiative is the creation of a Teen Domestic Violence Task Force, a program unlike anything the organization has previously offered. The groundwork for outreach will begin in the fall."

Just a summer update on support groups available from RCFC! 🌻🌞🌳 If you missed the first session of the 7-week summer Self Compassion Workshop for survivors of violence, there's still time to register! Final sign-ups will end this week before the group meets again on Tuesday 7/7.
