Hey, Greenfield - Our friends at the Southwest Suburban Health Department are hosting a bike rodeo on June 14 at City Hall in Greenfield! More details below, including how to register👇.

🚴 Join the Southwest Suburban Health Department at one (or both!) of our 2026 Bike Rodeos! We’re hosting two events in two different cities, so pick the date and location that works best for you—or come to both!

Registration is required for these FREE events.

📍 West Allis Bike Rodeo
📅 Sunday, May 31 | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
📌 West Allis Farmers Market (6501 W. National Ave.)

Join us tomorrow for a Stuffie Sleepover on June 1st from 6-7 p.m. Kids can bring a stuffed animal that will spend the night with us! We'll read stories, play games, then tuck the stuffies in for the night. Come back the next day to pick your stuffie up and see some pictures of the silly things they got up to!

MSOE Professor Patrick Jung will be discussing the 13 Colonies’ Western landscape and the War for Independence in his talk: The American Revolution in the Midwest: Native Warriors, American Patriots, British Tories, and Spanish Officers on Tuesday, June 9 at 7:00P at GPL. Learn how the area we live in today was very active in the fight for independence and obtain new knowledge on an often forgotten portion of regional American History! The event is free. We are very excited to be hosting MADACC (Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission) at the Library for a visit and adoption info event! Attendees will learn all about what MADACC does for our community, how they are helping animals in our area, and even meet some of their adoptable animals! They will also have info on all the other amazing animals that are currently available and can answer any questions about the adoption process.
