On or after Thursday, September 3 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., crews will refresh pavement markings on I-465 and I-69 on the south side of Indianapolis.

Alternating single-lane closures are planned on I-465 eastbound and westbound from I-70 to I-65 and on I-69 northbound and southbound from Fairview Road to I-465.

INDOT will host a public hearing regarding a proposed roundabout at State Road 38 and Prairie Baptist Road in Hamilton County.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 17 at the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department (18441 Durbin Road, Noblesville, IN 46060). Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with a presentation at 6 p.m. followed by public comment.

This morning, crews poured the new concrete deck on the State Road 140 bridge over the Big Blue River south of Knightstown.

The road closed in March for a complete bridge replacement project. Flooding earlier this month set crews back a few weeks. The bridge is now expected to reopen in early October.

UPDATED SCHEDULE:

The schedule for concrete repairs on I-70 this week has been updated in downtown Indianapolis. All overnight I-70 westbound work this week was completed ahead of schedule. Tonight (Wednesday, September 2) between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., crews will now close one lane of I-70 eastbound between Belmont Avenue and the south split. The Harding Street ramp to I-70 eastbound will also close. The I-70 eastbound ramp to I-65 southbound is closed as part of the I65SafetyandEfficiency project. No night work is planned for Thursday, September 3.

The north leg of County Road 600 E. is scheduled to close at the intersection with U.S. 40 on or after Tuesday, September 8. The road is expected to be closed for two weeks as construction on a reduced conflict intersection (RCI) continues in Hancock County.

The 56th Street ramp to I-465 northbound is back open ✅

Good news for drivers on the east side of Indianapolis!

More travel lanes are open on northbound and westbound I-465, and that means the ramp from 56th Street to northbound I-465 is back open.
