Bingocize is coming to the Library, thanks to Connections Area Agency on Aging!

Bingocize is a 10-week health promotion program that combines the game of bingo with fall prevention exercise. Come play bingo and meet new people while learning about techniques to reduce falls.

The Greenfield Public Library is pleased to announce that it has received a Historic Resource Development Grant from the State Historical Society of Iowa. Grant funds will support Adair County newspaper microfilming. The Greenfield Public Library will microfilm the Adair County Free Press, 2022-2024, and Fontanelle Observer, 1933, 1941-1948, 1950, and 2005-2023, to preserve the materials for future use and give in library access to materials.

Funding for the Historic Resource Development Program is made possible by the Iowa Legislature’s annual appropriation to the Resource Enhancement and Protection (REAP) program.

We had the absolute pleasure to have Lucy in earlier this summer to do her display featuring some of the best middle grade reads at the library. Unfortunately, we hadn't got a chance to post it, so we are featuring both of their awesome displays.
