Our friends at Hancock Health would like you to know 11/14/26 is Lung Screening Day! That day, a Saturday, Gateway Hancock Health Imaging at I70 & Mt. Comfort Road will be open for lung screenings. Are you giving your lungs the attention they deserve?

Talk to your provider and take advantage of the convenience of a Saturday to get your lung screening done.

Lung screening criteria:
👉 50-77 years old
👉 Currently smoke or quit smoking in last 15 years
👉 Have a least a 20-pack-year smoking history

This is the FUTURE of cancer care. And it’s happening right here at Hancock Health! 🧡

This week, Hancock Health reached a very exciting milestone: our 100th case using Ion robotic-assisted bronchoscopy.

But this milestone is about much more than a number. It represents 100 patients in our community who have had access to advanced diagnostic technology close to home, helping our care teams evaluate concerning lung nodules and, in many cases, get patients answers and begin treatment sooner.

Reaching 100 cases has taken a team. We’re proud to recognize Dr. Sumit Chawla, our pulmonary team, Surgical Services, Anesthesia, Pathology, Radiology, and everyone who has helped build and grow this program!
