❄️Inclement Weather Expected❄️

With the temperatures beginning to drop this weekend, and the chances of snow/ice we’d like to take the time to give you some considerations.

*Please stay cautious as road conditions may change and consider slowing down and activating your hazard lights if needed.*

*Avoid/limit long distance commutes if at all possible. If you MUST travel in snowy conditions, consider turning your headlights from AUTO to the ON position. This will help other drivers on the road see you in low visibility conditions.*

*If you come across another motorist in the ditch, or off the roadway in an unsafe manner, please pull over when it is safe to do so before getting on the phone to dial 911.*

When driving in the cold and slick conditions, it is important to plan for the worst and place yourself in a better position if the unfortunate circumstances occur that you end up in an accident.

Consider:
•Keep an extra layer of warm clothing in your car during travel.
•Make sure your phone or communication device is well charged.
•Be sure your vehicle has plenty of fuel incase you end up stuck on the side of the roadway for prolonged times.
•Consider making loved ones aware of your plan of travel and estimated time of arrival.

If you are having an emergency, DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL 911! If road conditions are bad, our response times may be longer to ensure safety, so please place that in consideration as our crews arrive on scene.
