North Fork Women Organization helping lesbians on the North Fork of Long Island, NY Mission Statement:

The North Fork Women For Women Fund, Inc.

is a 501 (c)(3) community-based not-for-profit organization of volunteers founded in 1992. NFWFWF provides healthcare grants and offers financial assistance and personal support to lesbians on the North Fork of Long Island, New York who are facing emergency health situations; difficulties caused by aging, illness, disability, or disruptions of physical or mental well-being; and those with inadequa

te or no health insurance. NFWFWF also provides crisis grants for financial assistance to cover expenses for lesbians on the North Fork who are experiencing non-healthcare related emergency situations. NFWFWF is committed to health advocacy and education, and develops activities and programs that foster the social and community life of lesbians on the North Fork.

Celebrate First Friday Friends on Friday, May 1, 2026, 6-7:30-ish at The Menhaden Hotel, 207 Front Street, Greenport, NY 11901. Meet downstairs to the left of the lobby.

NFWFWFers gather on the first Friday of every month at a different venue to celebrate whatever you want to celebrate. Light fare and lots of good talk will be available. Drinking is not necessary, just bring yourself.

HIKE • Sunday, May 3 at 10 a.m. at Indian Island County Park at Indian Point Road, off of Rt 105, Riverhead.
Enjoy scenic views of sandy beaches along Little Peconic Bay as we hike the 2.7 mile loop, which will take approximately 1 hour. Hike will start promptly at 10 am.
There will be an optional lunch at Buoy One Seafood Restaurant, 40 Peconic Ave Unit 38, Riverhead,

Monday, June 8, 8 a.m. — 3 pm at Island’s End Golf Club
5025 Main Road, Greenport.

Be part of the fun in this 18 hole Scramble competition. Tickets include a continental breakfast, golf, buffet lunch, and the post-golf celebration. Coolers of complimentary cold beverages will be available at designated holes. A cash bar will be available at the club house to quench most thirsts.
