The Giving Closet Free things New and used items all for free. If you no longer need or want it, never wore it or just hate it, we will take it.

No appliances, furniture, televisions or computers on site, but you may list it on an index card on our giving board!

The Giving Closet hours have changed slightly for the summer. Please note the new hours:

Tuesday from 9 to 3:00 pm. We do accept donations on Tuesday up until 2:30 pm
Wednesday from 9 to 12:00 pm. We do accept donations on Wednesday up until 11:30 am
Thursday from 9 to 12:00 pm. We do not accept donations on Thursdays.

As always, an appointment is recommended for donations. Please note we ask that you do not bring in winter or cold weather items during this time, as we have no storage space. Also we ask that you bring in 1-2 medium to small containers at a time. A medium size is about equal to a case of paper box size. Please, no black garbage bags of items.
Thank you for all your donations, it helps our communities.

I just want to clarify the Giving Closet hours. We are open Tuesdays from 9 to 2 for shoppers and donations. If you want to make a donation on Tuesdays, please call me at 802-533-2911 to make an appointment. Walk in shoppers are welcome. We are open Wednesdays from 9 to 4 for shoppers and donations. To donate, please call to make an appointment. Thursdays are open from 9 to 2 for shopping only. The Giving Closet will be closed on election day, November 5th.

The Giving Closet has new hours! Sandy and Kathy will be there on Tuesdays from 9 - 11:30 to take your donations. Also, Miriam is back all day on Wednesday rom 9 to 4 pm. Please call me at 802-533-2911 to set up an appointment.
Irene will be there on Thursday from 9 to noon, and Rebecca will be there from noon to 2 pm for shopping only.

I want to thank Rebecca Bellavance for stepping in and volunteering at the Giving Closet on Thursday afternoons until 2 pm. So now we will be open on Thursday mornings at 9 to noon with Irene Hill, Thank you Irene, and with Rebecca from noon to 2. We cannot do this without our volunteers! Thank you so very much.
Wednesdays we are open from 9 to 11:30 with Sandy Gebbie! A great Thank You to Sandy for being here on Wednesdays to accept donations! Without her, we would have these items to share!
We are very grateful for these wonderful ladies who share their time with us and for us.

For the foreseeable future this summer, the Giving Closet will be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoons. Please be patient as we work through this. We are open Wednesday mornings (donations are by appointment) from 9 to noon, and Thursday mornings for shopping only from 9 to noon.
