Our foundation gives monies to the six schools in the southeast area of Guilford County. We are seeking sponsors and teams for our annual fundraising event. To date, the foundation has given approximately $38,000.00 to the schools and area church food pantries. Please contact the foundation for more information. Thank you

Dear Fun Fest Participants:

We thank you for your years of dedication and support of this community fund-raising event. As you know, unfortunately, last year’s event was cancelled due to inclement weather. After much thought and discussion, The Southeast Guilford Community Foundation Board of Directors has decided to forgo holding a 2016 Fun Fest.

Again, we appreciate the support from the community, participants, sponsors, volunteers and especially the Fun Fest Committee members that made this event such a success year after year. We intend to re-evaluate this decision next year with hopes of bringing the event back to the southeast community. Please do not hesitate to contact any Director of the Foundation with questions or suggestions.

The SE Fun Fest Planning Committee has chosen to cancel this year’s event due to the pending heavy rain forecast over the next three days. We have never had to call the event due to inclement weather, but with the amount of rain that they are predicting over the next forty eight hours makes holding an outdoor event very difficult. We appreciate your support and we look forward to seeing you again in 2016!
