While our office serves as the official record keeper for property documents, this tool provides an additional way for residents to monitor public recordings filed under their name.

As we continue recognizing America's 250th Celebration, it's a meaningful time to honor the U.S. flag—a lasting symbol of our nation's freedom, unity, and enduring spirit.

The Lance Cpl. Christopher Phoenix "Jacob" Levy Flag Retirement Initiative provides Guilford County residents with a respectful way to retire worn, damaged, or tattered U.S. flags. Flags may be dropped off at designated collection locations in Greensboro and High Point, where they are prepared for proper retirement ceremonies conducted with community partners.

On the first day of Black History Month, the Guilford County Register of Deeds proudly celebrates by reposting our 11-part Slaved Deeds Community Interview Series, produced in partnership with UNC Greensboro and North Carolina A&T State University, and recorded at the International Civil Rights Center & Museum.
