🌸🌼Blossom & Bloom 🌸🌼
Our Teen Parent Mentor Program participants recently came together for a special Blossom & Bloom Group Connection, an afternoon centered on reflection, encouragement, goal-setting, and growth.
Together, participants created vision boards that gave them an opportunity to visualize the future they want for themselves and their families. We also opened the conversation around challenges they're navigating, the goals they're working toward, and the steps they can take to continue moving forward.
💐Each participants created a beautiful floral bouquet as a reminder that, just like flowers, growth takes time and the right environment to bloom. Every flower represented the possibilities ahead -- their dreams, accomplishments, resilience, and the beautiful futures they are building.
At the YWCA Greensboro Teen Parent Mentor Program, we want our young parents to know that their current circumstances do not define their future. They are still growing, still dreaming, and still becoming.
🌱They are planting the vision today for the lives they want to see bloom tomorrow!
