Parents as Teachers Guilford County Parenting education and support program We meet parents where they are at thru home visits and invite them to participate in group events with other parents.

Parents as Teachers Guilford County partners with parents as they acquire skills and knowledge they need to prepare their children enter kindergarten ready to learn. We do this by encouraging and facilitating parent/child interaction, bringing information about child development that explains the whys of their children’s behavior and strengthening the family as a whole by checking in regularly regarding overall family well-being.

Today is a great day for two wonderful organizations. and have merged to provide Parents as Teachers programming across Guilford County. Our Executive Directors went back to where the conversation all started. Thank you to Patti for your leadership and we look forward to continuing to work with you and PATNC office

GCS will offer free breakfast and lunch to anyone under the age of 18 during the summer months. Starting June 13, meals will be available Mondays through Thursdays. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to noon.
