The Greene County Board of Commissioners (BOC) is the county governing authority for Greene County, Georgia. The BOC relies upon a County Manager to manage daily operations. The following offices fall under the County Manager: Public Works (including Roads and Bridges, Solid Waste, and Governmental Properties), Building and Zoning, General Administration (including Finance, County Clerk, Human Res

ources, other Administrative roles), Public Safety (including Fire/Rescue, Emergency Medical Services, 911 Communications, and Animal Control), Senior Center, Recreation, Economic Development, Elections, and the Greene County Airport. In addition, the BOC and County Manager work closely with the Tax Assessor, Tax Commissioner, Sheriff's Office, County Extension, Probate/Magistrate Courts and Clerk of Court and provides funding to support these services.

ER Snell will be back out on Liberty Church Rd on Wednesday, Sept. 2nd. to make road repairs. They will have a lane closure. Be prepared to stop. Work should complete on Thursday.

There will be no curbside collection Labor Day.  The schedule will run one day behind and finish on Saturday.
