Guilford County Jail Ministry

Guilford County Jail Ministry We are a private, non-profit organization consisting of a ministry board, chaplains, and church partners.

There are a variety of ways to contribute to the work of this ministry.

1) Become a ministry partner by volunteering to assist chaplains during regular office hours or meet face-to-face with inmates to lead Bible studies on weekends.

2) Become a financial partner by supporting the ministry with monetary donations. Churches, businesses, and individuals can become financial partners. Those that su

pport the ministry with $500 a month are given a seat on the board and become an integral part of shaping the direction of the organization.

3) Churches can become part of the local network called the Way Out Program. This aspect of the ministry seeks to connect released inmates with local churches so that they can participate in a supportive, encouraging faith community as a part of their continued spiritual growth. Call or email us to find out more about how you can get involved. Check out the "Notes" tab for testimonies from some of our volunteers!

I got to talk to Curtis today after his ministry time. He is a new volunteer and I was so encouraged by hearing his testimony.

He joined our ministry because he wanted to be used by God. He came to Christ through a co-worker reaching out to him years ago and he is excited about reaching out to others with the only good news that saves!
