What started as a friendly wager between GFD and the Stockton Fire Department during the Greensboro Swarm vs. Stockton Kings series turned into a special delivery!

After the Swarm came out on top, our friends at the Stockton Fire Department held up their end of the deal and shipped a box full of department swag all the way from California.

Good sports. Great firefighters. Even better camaraderie. 🚒🤝

Wow...we thought everyone was coming out for First Responder Friday and judging by the turnout, we might have been right! 🚒🚓🚑

A huge thank you to our incredible partners for helping make this event such a success: Greensboro Police Department , Guilford County Sheriff's Office , Metro 911 , Guilford County EMS , and Safe Kids Greensboro. Your dedication to serving our community and engaging with families made the evening truly special.

We'd also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Greensboro Firefighters Foundation for sponsoring this event and helping us bring our community together.

Today, Engine 48 had the privilege of partnering with A Bed and A Book to help assemble beds for children in our community.

A bed may seem like a simple thing, but it can make a world of difference in a child's life. We are proud to serve our community both on and off the emergency scene.
