We are thrilled to invite you to the UNCG Innovation in Education Summit, a groundbreaking event that promises to inspire, educate, and engage all those passionate about shaping the future of education.

A panel of speakers includes:

Brandon Busteed (Chief Partnership Officer and Global Head of Learn-Work Innovation) is recognized as a LinkedIn Top Voice and produces the weekly newsletter "Busteed Bold: Bold Ideas & Insights @ the Intersection of Learning and Work."

Joe Ableidinger (Executive Director of SparkNC) will speak to the transformative work being undertaken by SparkNC to accelerate learner progress along pathways to careers in high-tech fields.

Hunter Moore (CEO of Plasma Games) will provide real-world examples of how Plasma Games is providing teachers with rigorous, entertainment-quality resources that allow them to engage students and improve learning.

Kim Morrison (Superintendent of Mt. Airy City Schools) will bring the perspective of a Superintendent who stays on top of innovative practices in education and is a national example of leveraging public/private partnerships to bring innovative initiatives to fruition.

Leah Carper (Moderator) is a UNCG alum and North Carolina's 2022 Teacher of the Year.

In collaboration with Epic Games, UNC Greensboro is proud to announce our first-ever Esports tournament: Spartan Clash featuring Fortnite! This solo-player Fortnite tournament is open to all North Carolina high school and college students, with the top 45 players advancing to the final round.
