From the barn to the national stage! 🐴💙 LOA seventh grader Amanda reached an incredible milestone this summer, competing with her longtime pony, Lucky Charm, at the 2026 USEF Pony Jumper National Championship in Lexington, Kentucky.

If you could build your own city, what would you put in it? 🗺️🏙️

Our 5th grade students in Mrs. Stewart’s class wrapped up their geography unit in a creative and hands-on way by designing their own cities and mapping them out. 🗺️✨

From roads and landmarks to thoughtful details and layout, students used what they learned to bring geography to life through imagination, planning, and problem-solving.

We love seeing our teachers create opportunities for students to think, build, problem-solve, and make learning their own. 💙💛

A legacy worth looking up to. 💙💛 Three members of LOA’s Class of 2026 earned the highest possible score on their AP Calculus Exam—and left behind something future Titans will see for years to come.

Emmy, Sara Duncan, and Walker each designed a ceiling tile for Mrs. Seigle’s office, becoming part of a growing tradition that celebrates hard work, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence.

Their tiles are more than artwork. They’re a lasting reminder that big goals are possible—and that the work it takes to reach them matters.

Students in Mr. Merritt's Government class traded textbooks for gummy bears to bring different forms of democracy and government to life.

Representation. Voting. Citizenship. Government. All demonstrated with a little creativity—and a lot of gummy bears.

A First for LOA! Congratulations to Grayson, the first Lake Oconee Academy student to be accepted into Georgia Tech’s Dual Enrollment program! This fall, Grayson will take college-level Computer Science coursework through Georgia Tech while continuing his studies at LOA as a junior.

Grayson’s achievement reflects his curiosity, hard work, and passion for math & technology. We can’t wait to see where this opportunity takes him!
