Hello - We are collecting food for kids without school lunch this Summer. We have a pink lid trash can at the end of our walkway and we would love the support from the neighborhood. 705 Pamlico Dr, and we will be collecting through the end of the month.

Saturday June 25th from 9-5 will be our Annual spring plant share! Put it on your calendar and start rounding up your contributions.

Just starting out? Nothing to share? No worries, we're a giving bunch. No one leaves empty-handed.

***TIPS***
🌱 Collect items ASAP to allow plants time to recover
🌱 Check for pests before sharing
🌱 Label plants with ideal growing conditions
🌱 Reuse and repurpose ♻️
-Takeout and food containers
-Produce packaging
-Grocery store bags
-Used zip top bags
🌱 Remember to add a little native or potting soil
🌱 Water everything well in the days leading up to the swap.
🌱 Bring bags or boxes. We always take home more than we planned on 🤣

Good News for our Lake Daniel Friends!

As you may know, I and my neighbors on N. Josephine Boyd St., John and Jane York, have been circulating a petition to appeal to the Greensboro City Council for funding to improve traffic and pedestrian safety on our street. Our sincere thanks to all who signed the petition and expressed an interest in being involved in this effort.

We’re pleased to let you know that John was able to secure a meeting with Councilman Justin Outling at 5:30, this Wednesday evening, December 1, at Grimsley High School. Room number will be announced shortly. We hope you will attend to express your thoughts and concerns, so that our numbers will help to influence the City Council to take effective action.

If you are unaware of this undertaking and you would like to know more about our campaign to address the speeding, accidents, property damage, and other safety issues which have become prevalent on N. Josephine Boyd St., please email either John at [email protected] or me at [email protected].

The Macaw bird named Doby flew away on what turned out to be one big adventure that ended in an even greater rescue.
