ACTIVE BURN BAN: GUILFORD COUNTY
Due to a regional Code Orange air quality alert, a complete Burn Ban is effective today, Friday, June 5, through Saturday, June 6, for all of Guilford County.

NO outside burning is permitted.
Per county ordinance, this ban will remain in effect until Saturday at midnight. The burn ban may be extended.

Pool Closure Notice ⚠️

Due to inclement weather, all Guilford County pools located at Bur-Mil, Northeast and Hagan-Stone Parks will close today at 12:00 PM.

We plan to reopen tomorrow, May 24 at 12:00 PM, weather permitting.

Our aquatic center season blasts off TODAY! Bur-Mil Park, Northeast Park, and Hagan Stone Park aquatic centers are open every day this weekend:​

Saturday, May 23 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.​

Sunday, May 24 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.​

Monday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ​

From May 23 – June 7 aquatic centers will be open on weekends only. Aquatic centers will begin operating seven days a week on June 13, with specific hours for Day Care Swim, Public Swimming, and Pool Parties – all weather permitting. ​
