The Kiowa County Sheriff's Office would like to make residents aware that Gaudrius Sadaunykas, with Southwestern Advantage, will be spending time in our area as part of an educational internship program.

Gaudrius has introduced himself to Sheriff Lothman and has been in contact with the cities he plans to visit. He has also obtained his permit with the City of Greensburg. Over the coming weeks, he will be going door-to-door visiting families and offering educational books, study guides, and learning resources for children and students. These materials include resources for early learning, school success, and college entrance exam preparation.

If Gaudrius knocks on your door, please know that he has an accent and is very friendly. He'll likely greet you with a big smile! He will be driving the vehicle posted which is a Mazda CX-50 with Arizona tags.

We have canceled the endangered persons advisory that was issued on behalf of the Yates Center Police Department. Tava Glover was located safe in Oklahoma, and is now with family. Thank you for your assistance.

The KBI has issued an endangered persons advisory, on behalf of the Yates Center Police Department, for a missing Yates Center woman.

The whereabouts of 44-year-old Tava Glover are unknown, and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate her.

Glover last made contact with her family on Tuesday, Aug. 4, when she was expected to be driving home to Yates Center from Kansas City. She is believed to be driving a 2016 white Lincoln MKZ bearing Kansas tag 9261AGM.

Tava is a white female who is approximately 5 foot 4 inches tall and weighs around 174 pounds. She has light brown hair and hazel eyes. Authorities believe she may have traveled in Pittsburg, Kansas, Miami, Oklahoma, and Ottawa, Kansas since Tuesday.

Tava has been diagnosed with a serious medical condition and is without necessary medication.

If you see Tava Glover, or her vehicle, call 911 immediately. If you have other information about her whereabouts, please call the Yates Center Police Department at 620-625-8640.

KANSAS AMBER ALERT
On 07/26/2026 at 11:39 am, the Wichita Police Department provided the following information to the KBI:

On 07-26-2026 at 2:16 a.m., Araceli Gonzales was forcibly taken by her father Saul Gonzales Diaz from her mother. The father had beaten the mother in a domestic violence incident and had a gun in his possession. The mother reported hearing a possible gunshot in the residence prior to the child being taken. Police believe this child is in imminent danger. The suspect left from 4240 E Boston St. in Wichita in a 1998 White Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck bearing Kansas license plate 446-MSL in a unknown direction. The Wichita Police believe the suspect and the child are still in the Wichita area.

Saul Gonzales-Diaz is a 21-year-old Hispanic male, 5 foot 6 inch, weight 165 pounds, brown hair, black eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey tank top, grey shorts, and black Nike Air Jordan tennis shoes. Saul has a beard and mustache.

Araceli Gonzales is 2 years old, Hispanic female, black hair, brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink dress with possibly a white flower pattern and pink Hello Kitty tennis shoes. Araceli as short very curly hair.

Call 911 immediately if you have seen a missing child, suspect, or suspects vehicle. If you have other information on a missing child, call 911 or the Wichita Police Department at 316-383-4661.

UPDATE: The Anthony Police Department reported that Laura Thomison, 75, of Wichita, was located and is safe. The Statewide Silver Alert is now canceled. Thanks for your assistance.

STATEWIDE SILVER ALERT - PLEASE SHARE

The Anthony Police Department requested the KBI issue a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Wichita woman last seen in Anthony, Kansas.

The whereabouts of 75-year-old Laura Thomison, are unknown, and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate her.

Thomison is likely driving a Silver 2011 Nissan Rogue bearing Kansas plate 6588AHU. She was last seen on July 12 around 8:30 p.m., and is believed to be headed to 1124 S. Pershing Ave. in Wichita, Kansas.

Thomison is a white female who is around 5 foot 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. She has gray hair and gray eyes. Thomison likely has dementia.

If you see Laura Thomison, or her vehicle, please call 911 immediately. If you have other information about her whereabouts, please call the Anthony Police Department at (620) 842-5123.
