Meet the New Green County YSC Coordinator, Hayley Thompson! I’m so very happy for her and know she will be great! 💚💛
Green County Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Hayley Thompson as the district's new Youth Services Center Director.
Thompson brings a strong background in social work, student support services, and community collaboration to the role. She has served as a Social Worker with Baptist Health in Elizabethtown since 2019, where she has worked closely with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and community agencies to ensure individuals receive the support and resources they need. Prior to that, she served as a Children's Targeted Case Manager and Community Support Associate with The Adanta Group, assisting children and families through school-based, community, and behavioral health services.
A native of Green County, Thompson is passionate about helping students and families overcome barriers to success. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with children, parents, educators, healthcare providers, and community organizations to connect individuals with resources, advocate for their needs, and promote positive outcomes.
Thompson earned a Master of Social Work degree from Campbellsville University and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Western Kentucky University.
As Youth Services Center Director, Thompson will work closely with students, families, school staff, and community partners to identify needs, coordinate services, and help ensure every student has the support necessary to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
