☀️ OUR CONSUMERS ARE SQUEEZING IN EVERY LAST BIT OF SUMMER FUN!

As summer begins to wind down, our WCBA consumers have been busy making the most of every sunny day! We’ve packed our summer with adventures, new experiences, and great friends!💕

🐶 We visited the K9 dogs and Sheldon the Turtle at Norwin Petland.
🏈 Cheered on the black & gold at Steelers Training Camp at Saint Vincent College.
🥁 Made some noise and learned new rhythms during drumming classes at ESCA in Export.
💐 Enjoyed wonderful visits with our friends at Ligonier Gardens Assisted Living and Concordia at Bethlan.
🌺 Helped keep our community beautiful by watering the flower baskets in Downtown Greensburg.
🎨 Enjoyed an afternoon of art, culture, and creativity at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art.
🐈 Volunteered with the kitties at the Heal Animal Rescue in Youngwood.
🌳 Soaked up the sunshine with trips to some of our favorite local parks.

We sure know how to make the most of summer at WCBA! ☀️😎 While we may not be ready to say goodbye to summer just yet, we’re grateful for all the fun, laughter, friendships, and adventures we’ve shared along the way.

Now we want to hear from YOU! 👇
How did you spend your summer? Tell us about your favorite summer adventure in the comments below! 🌻☀️

WCBA recently had the pleasure of meeting with Richele Stough at Westmoreland County’s Department of Public Safety to learn more about The Project Lifesaver program. This valuable program uses radio-transmitter technology to help law enforcement and emergency responders quickly locate individuals with cognitive conditions who may wander.

Project Lifesaver provides an added layer of safety, reassurance and peace of mind for individuals, families and caregivers throughout our community. We are grateful to Richele for sharing this important resource with us! If you know someone who could benefit from this service, feel free to contact Richele at 724-600-7322. See link below for more details.

Westmoreland County, through the Westmoreland County Department of Public Safety has created a voluntary, secure law enforcement database to maintain information about persons who suffer from autism or other disorders which put them at risk of wandering away from their home or care providers (includ...
