Here’s a look at our work farm so far this year. We use the food grown here for the detention center. It helps offset food cost. Special thanks to Bob Wellman and our inmates for working the garden everyday!

These fellas have been busy!

Join us in congratulating Chris, Sam, Ryan, Joshua, and Billy on earning their ServSafe Food Handlers Certification, a nationally recognized credential! These guys completed a food safety training program demonstrating their knowledge of proper food handling practices and procedures to prevent foodborne illness, making them qualified to work in a food service environment and signifying a commitment to food safety standards. 🥳 Way to go, fellas!

Congratulations to Calvin Peck for getting his GED with us!

A new program we are offering call Portals has been a success. PORTALS New Direction is a DOC approved program focused on the life skills needed to successfully reenter back into society. It’s a 20 hour course offered over 8-10 weeks. Completion of the program takes 60 days off of a persons sentence. Our first to graduate was Tammy. She’s pictured here with instructor Tonya Lambert. We are very proud.
