Golden Strip Career Center

Golden Strip Career Center Students earn certifications and experience authentic, hands-on training in one of fifteen programs.

Golden Strip Career Center offers students the opportunity to take courses with job-skill driven curricula. Students can attend one of fifteen classes including Welding, Mechatronics, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, and many more! We provide the unique opportunity to pursue a technical career interest while earning high school credit and dual credit (college credit). Some programs are one year and som

e are two years with each culminating in students earning licenses, national certifications, or college credit. The courses are designed for students who are planning on pursuing a two-year associate degree, a four-year degree, or a career after graduation.

Big things are happening in our Firefighting program!

Congratulations to seniors Alijah Reager on signing with the Fountain Inn Fire Department and Elijah Wentworth on signing with the Simpsonville Fire Department!

These departments have invested countless hours training, mentoring, and supporting our students here at Golden Strip Career Center, and now they get to welcome two of our own into their fire service families.

We are incredibly proud to see our students stepping up to serve the very communities that have poured so much into them. The future of the fire service is bright!
