Trent Rufing for Floyd County School Board District 1

So the results are in for the New Albany Floyd County School Board...

I did not win this race. I've had a few folks reaching out saying we voted for you and to keep your head up. Evidently they don't know me on a personal level. I always keep my head up and I never give up. I have learned a tremendous amount along the way and thought about what I've done wrong during this race and what I can do better next time. I did run into a lot of speed bumps for the campaigning. The main thing that I have taken from this is not about the loss but more about what I've learned from the amazing people I've met and the experience that I took from this. That is what is most important. I will keep active in the school board meetings and will continue to learn and be more involved in the upcoming years.

I want to thank everybody that has voted in general and that have supported me in my journey as well. Your vote matters.
