Good news for our community — and a reminder that we're here for you.
Greene County has seen a 48% decline in overdoses since 2021, marking four consecutive years of progress. That's the result of hard work by first responders, public health teams, treatment providers, and — most importantly — people who chose to seek help and the loved ones who supported them.
At the Greenville Rescue Squad, we see this crisis up close. We respond to the calls. We know the faces behind the numbers. And we are so proud of the progress our community has made.
But the work isn't done. If you or someone you love is struggling with substance use — in any form — please know:
You are not alone.
Help is available, and you deserve it.
Asking for help is a sign of strength.
