It’s that time of the year when our kiddos head back to school, our grocery bills miraculously decrease by 700%, and we remind everyone to give school busses a "brake".
When you see the red lights flashing, you need to come to a full and complete stop.
Children’s lives depend on it.
The HASD busses ARE EQUIPPED WITH CAMERAS. Drivers will promptly notify the Outagamie County Sheriff's Office. Fines for Failure to Stop for a School Bus are approx $767.

This morning, several department members provided a dignified transfer of the World Trade Center steel beams on permanent loan from the Port Authority of New York / New Jersey. Through the incredible support of donations from the community, and volunteer labor from several members and their respective businesses, we are able to move the memorial to the site of our new station.

Initially constructed in 2012, these artifacts are the center piece to our promise to never forget the ultimate sacrifice of 343 FDNY firefighters, 71 law enforcement officers, 2,192 civilians at the World Trade Center and the victims on the airplanes and at the Pentagon.

As we approach the 25th anniversary of this attack on our nation we will , and will continue to honor their memory.

THIS IS ONLY A DRILL

🚨ATW Full-Scale Emergency Exercise TOMORROW🚨

We’ll be conducting a full-scale emergency training exercise tomorrow night, August 19, at ATW. You may see emergency personnel, actors, fire trucks, sirens, and smoke around the airport campus.

THIS IS ONLY A DRILL! There is no real emergency.

Flights will not be affected, and the airport will operate as normal. These exercises are an important part of our ongoing safety training and help our team and emergency responders stay prepared.

Thanks for your understanding!

Please take a look at the construction schedule for the new pedestrian tunnel. This is all of the information that we have at this time. We should all be aware that with construction, there could be changes/delays to the schedule. **The best way to stay on top of construction in our area is to go to the Public Works Projects page** https://www.townofgreenville.com/department/projects.php

Thankfully Greenville weathered the storm yesterday with minimal impacts. The Fire Dept and Greenville Public Works responded to 16 calls for trees in roadways and into power lines. Greenville Fire Dept also responded with an engine, light rescue truck, and UTV to assist with search and rescue efforts in Fox Crossing & Menasha.

Our neighboring communities have a long road to recovery ahead. If you are looking to help, please see the post below. Efforts were very well org sized last night, and that continues today. Using the process they have setup will ensure the fastest, most efficient use of everyone’s time and talents.

Many residents have asked about the construction taking place near the Greenville Fire Station.

The Greenville Fire Department is relocating the Village's 9/11 Memorial from the Municipal Service Center to the Fire Station. This new location will provide greater visibility and easier public access for those who wish to visit and reflect on the memorial.

We're proud to share that this project is being funded entirely through Greenville Fire Department fundraising efforts and donated labor, with no cost to Village taxpayers.

We appreciate the community's patience while construction is underway. Please check back for updates as the project progresses, including information on when the memorial relocation is complete.

Thank you to the members of the Greenville Fire Department and everyone who has contributed to making this project possible.
